Day Four – Tired

Published June 4, 2012 by fitflo

I did an unexpected 2nd bit of Juneathoning yesterday, as we went for a 2.5m walk up into the moor then down to the pub for a swift half and back after lunch yesterday. I decided to use the walk back up the hill (a mile up the steepest hill I have EVER come across) as a bit of a training session and my glutes are feeling a bit tender today. Sitting in a car for 4 hours for the journey home didn’t really help ease them, so when it came to running with Elaine I was feeling a bit wimpy. Luckily she was a bit tender from all the weekends jubilations and we basicallywent for a nice walk round the block, interspersed with a torrential downpour and the odd bit of running.

I forgot to take my camera with me, so here are 2 pics from yesterdays walk. In the pic is Scott, Fi, Tommy the greyhound and my OH. I was looking far too rough after 3 days drinking to put myself in the frame…

And this is just the other side of the road from Fi’s house. Awesome trail training ground right on her doorstep but I can’t convince her to do TR24

Running:

Todays: 2.3m

Juneathon Total: 11.2m

Walking:

Todays and JT: 2.5m
